THERE REALLY IS NO TURNING BACK

 

this road you have been walking

seems these days

no longer even visible

 

feet just barely touch the ground

 

and the red sea is not yet parting

you are now in over your head

 

yet there is no turning back you see

nothing else will satisfy you now

 

you have tasted the fruit

you have gotten a glimpse

you have dreamed those dreams

 

so go now

keep walking

you are ready

 

let go of what you used to know

let go what used to be true

those were all such small things anyway
