letting go

of who I used to be

of who I thought I was

of who I wanted to be

 

letting go

of who I wanted you to be

of what I wanted from the world

of everything that was mine

and everything that was never mine

 

letting go

of this need to figure things out

of needing to understand anything

of everything I have ever been

and everything I have never been

 

letting go

and letting go again

and again

softness

 

letting go

is not a free fall

and it is not chaos - wow 

 

and maybe

it is the beginning
