I AM HERE

 

we are here

to be the light 

shining in the darkness 

during storms to of today

and those to come

 

a steady calm light

for we know this darkness

we remember

 

morning always comes

even after the darkest of nights

calm after the loudest angriest of storms

and the night

 

well - the night holds no danger 

for the one who has walked such storms 

and so many dark nights

and for the one who can see in the night

the darkness has lost its power
