FERAL CAT

 

she is back there somewhere

 

I can’t see her

but I feel her moving

now and then

breathing

 

if I have been quiet and still

for a while

I can feel her suffering

 

tasting her fear

I sit closer to where

she is hiding

 

being quiet with her

I think she likes it

she has not run away
